It has been almost seven years since I logged on here. I came back because of the whole AI thing and hearing the newgrounds has banned AI? Is this the safe haven I've been seeking? I sure hope so. The AI depression has hit hard over the past week and I'm just so exhausted over every other platform allowing it. Anyways, I need to change my username and upload all my old art. I haven't actually made anything new in this style in a couple years because of, well my need to make a living, but I plan on getting back to it when I retire in like six years.

AI animation is more of a gray area. I've submitted two movies that used AI tools and they were both allowed, although I think that's because there was clearly non-AI work/creativity involved. Hello Ben. I did read the full guidelines and it reads as very reasonable, though it could potentially be like photobashing with photos you don't have the right to use. We'll see how legislation figures all that out in the future. It's still a very murky area.

Artfol and BuzzlyArt also don't allow AI art on their platforms. Neither place is as big as newgrounds though.
